Lone Butte Fire Department

Welcome

It is the mission of the Lone Butte Fire Department to safely, efficiently, and professionally save life, protect property, and save and protect the environment. We strive to do this through fire prevention education and inspection, fire code enforcement, reduction of hazards, and fire investigation. We also strive to provide cost effective services with education and improvement at the forefront.

The hall

The Lone Butte Fire Department was founded in in 1981; its fire hall remains as the last existing log hall in British Columbia. The property contains a fairly extensive training ground out back, allowing for smoke and fire training, as well as auto extrication practices. Also in the back of the hall is a large, underground tank at which the trucks may use as a water reservoir.

The Hall has recently expanded with a brand new 3-Bay addition behind the main hall for additional apparatus and equipment.
